The Triangle has no shortage of culture and entertainment, but sifting through all your options can be difficult. Luckily, the Triangle Business Journal has done the hard work for you and narrowed down the top five performing arts organizations in the area.
- The Durham Performing Arts Center ? More than 120 performances and over 60 concerts graced the stage at DPAC last year, and they already have a great line up planned for 2012.
- North Carolina Symphony
? The North Carolina has recently brought in some impressive performances like Ravel?s piano concerto, Schubert?s Great Symphony and Zarathustra. Wait and see what they will feature in the coming months. - Carolina Ballet ? With amazing performances like the Black and White Swan and Dracula ? the Masque of the Red Death, the Triangle residents have been blessed with some of the most graceful dancers in the area.
- The Progress Energy Center ? Great acts like Primus, Bill Maher, Gordon Lightfoot and Cesar Millan are always stopping at the Progress Energy Center on their way through the area.
- American Dance Festival ? The American Dance Festival features some of the most amazing dancers and performers in a variety of styles.
